China Glaze - Ingrid
Hi guys! :) This is China Glaze Ingrid from the Vintage Vixen collection. I almost forgot how pretty this one was! I love how the subtle gold shimmer compliments the taupe creme base. Ingrid is one of the few brown polishes I own and it always reminds me of my dentist haha. I was wearing it on an appointment once and he kept saying I had such a dirty color on my nails. I can't blame him, since I used to think of taupes exactly the same way haha. What's your thought on Ingrid? :)
Somehow I don't get on with my Ingrid :) Most times I find just too boring. So when I choose what polish to use, Ingrid rarely gets picked. But it looks gorgeous on you!
ReplyDeleteI love Ingrid!!!! I used to think like you as well, about brown-taupe polishes. LOL
ReplyDeleteLoooove ingrid! for some reason yours looks more gold then i remember mine looking. Oh well, as usual your np is amazing.
ReplyDeleteOwn it. Love it. Because it comes alive in the sun.
ReplyDeleteIngrid is a gorgeous color! I don't think mine has this much shimmer though, boo!
ReplyDeleteWow, this is such a gorgeous color. I'm not familiar with this color!
ReplyDeleteAww, it's pure love. I don't really like taupes either, but for me it looks more like a pretty light brown and i absolutely love such browns. The gold shimmer just makes it even more awesome.
ReplyDeleteIngrid is such an intriguing color! It really takes a certain nail and skin tone to flatter. I don't think this would look very nice for me personally, but it looks very chic and lovley on you Jane!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!! I need this!
ReplyDeleteHaha, stupid dentist, it's a amazing color! :D I love the shimmer in it, on the first picture, you see them laying down in the nailpolish. Haha, what a crazy description. :') But it looks stunning!
ReplyDeleteHm, this is an interesting color. I'm not sure if I'm in love with it, but it definitely intrigues me.
ReplyDeleteThis color is gorgeous! I love it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful colour!
ReplyDeleteI have a couple of browns and I almost never wear them alone, but they're excellent as base for stamping or tape manis. The color goes really well with others!
ReplyDeleteThis Vintage Vixen is such an interesting collection... I mean, there's a lot of different colors, like, unusual. Don't know how to explain, but you've changed my mind about this collection. I thought it wasn't so glamourous, but it is! I really like how Ingrid turns out on nails *-*
ReplyDeleteLike you, I'm not a big fan of brown colors on nails, clothes, make up... But sometimes, some browns are kind pretty ^_^
=*****
It's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous color! Love the shimmer in it.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I have that shade also..
ReplyDeleteIngrid is one of my all time favourite polishes. It surprised me so much the first time I wore it -- I never thought of myself as a 'brown' girl, but it's just so stunning. Whenever I put it on, I just want to keep it on for days.
ReplyDeletethis is SO pretty - is this a core color?
ReplyDeleteI'm wearing this today - my all time favourite colour. Just love the golden shimmer.
ReplyDeleteHaha what a rude dentist! He's supposed to look at your teeth, not your nails ;) I think it looks pretty on you!
ReplyDeleteLove it!!! I JUST had it on and couldn't stop staring at the gold shimmer. It makes it so special!
ReplyDeleteI love this one! I have it and I got a few strange looks haha but I love it anyways. It looks great on you! :D
ReplyDeleteit looks really pretty :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and unusual colour!
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty, I want it terribly. Looks like a darker version of China Glaze Trendsetter, which I own & absolutely love! Ok, i'm getting it now! THanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteI don't think it's like Trendsetter at all. Beautiful for sure, but much more brown. I'd still grab it. :)
