  21. Thanks for your comments girls! The smell of these KLeancolors are horrible but they're so pretty! *DROOL* I haven't tried out most of them yet, but when I do, you will of course be seeing all the pictures here :)

And for the people who were wondering where I bought mine, I got them from beautyjoint.com for only $1,75 a bottle, they also ship internationally for a very reasonable price.

@rebecca: I haven't tried out Kiss Goodbye and Midnight Seduction yet, but they look pretty dense when I look at the amount of glitter on the brush.

@YK: I have to agree with you : Checked out your blog ;-) I LOVE your version of the double lightning bolt design! Amazing colour combo and the glitter adds that extra oomph!

@Danny: Ooh that's okay! We all have busy lives, right ;-) I checked out the link, but it's sold out and now I'm sad :-( The lemming continues...

@Adeline: That NOPI is pretty! I agree it looks very similar, only the NOPI also has little iridescent glitters.

  24. I just discovered your blog, and I have no idea how it took this long, and I'm kind of ashamed. Because this blog is meant for me. I'm such a nail polish whore.
    So now I love you.

  31. Hi Nailside,

I noticed that your bottle of Shooting Stars is a bit murky. It has happened to most of my Kleancolor glitters (the ones with the bigger glitter particles). The bases turns a murky brown color. When I bought shooting stars in march, the base was clear. It's now completely useless. I don't know who would want glitter in a brown base.

  32. For the US, you can buy them online at kleancolor.com ;)

As for NOPI, particularly Step2 the beat of my heart--SKIP IT. It *looks* gorgeous for sure, but the shape of the bottle makes it nearly impossible to get any of that gorgeous glitter out!! After several tries, I managed to get 3 hearts on a nail swatch :( I'm going to get another bottle to decant and try, otherwise, it's going to be franked. LOL

I am a SUCKER for glitter--and those are definitely pretty, and a good price!!

Do you have any Lippmann to compare them to? I'd probably buy them anyway for the price. THANKS (though my husband won't ROFL)

  33. Thanks everyone for sharing your thoughts. And my apologies for the late response to some of the comments!

    @Bonnie: Welcome! :D

@Malfive: I bought mine at beautyjoint.com. But according to Headacheslayer "The Crafty Angel", you can also by them at kleancolor.com, if you live in the US.

@Raine loves Nails: I think Shooting Stars is supposed to have an orange base, which also subtly shows on the nails. Maybe you're talking about Blind Date? The one with the big star shapes? Because I've heard about somebody else having the same problem, the clear base turned yellow. Either way, it is a bummer when polishes don't stay as pretty as when you bought them! I've never had that problem before though, but time will tell if my bottles of Kleancolors will change too...

@Headacheslayer "The Crafty Angel": I agree about the poor density of the big glitters, unfortunately. I swatched them on a nail wheel and I too had to apply several layers for only three stars! Maybe I'll use tweezers next time to fish them out...
About the DL polishes, I don't have any :P Wish I had! They've got so many pretty glitters in their collection <3 If only they weren't that expensive! :(

  34. Hey Jane! I'm not sure if you've posted about the staying power of kleancolor polishes? They're so amazing and so cheap (even when shipped to the UK) so I'm thinking there has to be a catch?? I thought maybe they didn't stay on for very long or something. Anyways, I am still gonna get a whole load of them!

    ReplyDelete
  35. @Wig Wam: Hello :-) Since I change my manis so often I haven't been able to test their lasting power. The reason why they're so cheap is probably because they're produced with cheap, most-definately-not-very-good-for-your-health ingredients :P At least that's what they smell like. So make sure you're in a well-ventilated room when you use them! ;-)
