Hi everyone! How are you? I'm liking semi-nude manis more and more and they can be very simple too! Just like today's mani with zigzag French tips. Because there's no base color needed, you can immediately place tape strips on the nails. Apply a coat of Essence Chuck on top, remove the tape right away and you're done. Finally a layer of topcoat and edgy nails are born! :-) What's your thought on this funky French mani?

ReplyDeleteI love it! But I know I couldn't go naturally bare right now. I might try adding tips over a sheer neutral that looks nude, but has just enough tint to disguise my stains. Maybe a reason to pick up one of OPI's Ballet collection!

ReplyDeleteI love this manicure, and you're right: seems complicated, but can be pretty easy to do! I cannot do the zigzags as you do though, I have always some polish out of the right path (smile)... And I figured doing it directly on to the nail would complicate things a little bit more, as the tape should adhere less to the nail than to a previous layer of polish. What is your experience?

ReplyDeleteWhat base coat do you usually use for your nails to keep them from staining? Or do you just treat the stains somehow? Your nails look great! I would love to be able to wear no base colour, but my nails are always stained. :(
