Hello everyone, today I'm wearing Essence's Got A Secret, a very pretty, extremely light grey. Though it's not exactly a stunning color, it's far from full. I am totally loving it! It's so clean and sophisticated and work-appropriate :)
The formula is just perfect, it almost applies itself, I used two coats for full coverage. And the price is very nice too (€1,29 for 5ml/0.16fl.oz), so there's nothing more that I could ask for.
What do you think of this unusual color?

Not what I would reach for but it looks great on you. We won't get the new Essence products until mid-April, argghh! Can't wait!
ReplyDeleteI look at the essence polish every time I'm in Kruidvat and wondered if it was any good. I have Miss Sporty from Etos which is also quite cheap but I don't like it very much. I was thinking all low price polish may be the same. I will try the Essence paint now after reading this!
ReplyDeleteI like that color, it's unusual. Not something I'd think to pick up as it's not really colorful, but it's nice. Would make a nice base for some stamping as well.

I absolutely LOVE this colour. Why can't we get those Essence's polishes in here?!?
ReplyDelete@Breigh: I actually have a lot of great, low-priced polishes. It really depends on the brand how the quality is. But I've always had trouble with Miss Sporty polishes, so I don't by them anymore. Some cheap brands I find pretty good are Essence, Catrice and drugstore polishes like Hema, Etos and DA are also very nice.

Could this be a dupe for OPIs Skull and glossbones??? :)
ReplyDelete@Irena B: They are pretty close but definitely not dupes. Got A Secret is pure grey, while the OPI has a tad of yellow, making it a very pale beige.
